The “LOVE BOAT” will land on the NAVIGLIO during Design Week 2024 - Atelier Biagetti’s latest aquatic Pet Therapy installation is the new home to sweet, giant cats that become sculptural lamps and seats shaded by soft palm trees with crazy coconut lights.

Our Giants Cats are Back! announces ten-year-old designer Altea Biagetti, the visionary behind this project dedicated to those cherished childhood companions and lifelong friends - our pets!

On board: among the colorful palm trees and the cuckoo clock teetering between reality and the metaverse, the new giant cats will be presented, including the first soft version and the small "Birba*" series. Only during Milano Design Week, attendees will have the unique opportunity to personalize** and buy their very own cat sculpture with hand painted eyes, making each piece a truly one-of-a-kind treasure.

*Birba is a cat-lamp made with marble powder embracing a glass sphere.

The Pet Therapy project aims to reignite the innocent wonder and excitement often lost with age. It taps into the uplifting effects of the boundless love shared between humans and their furry, four-legged friends. All the pieces in the collection, including the metaverse cuckoo clock developed in collaboration with Vitruvio Virtual Reality, serve as functional sculptures, crafted to evoke the idea of a home without boundaries, where indoor and outdoor spaces meld seamlessly into one environment.

Here, playfulness takes centre stage in the pursuit of pure, innocent joy.
